The Learning & Digital Resources team offers a wide range of facilities and services to support your learning. This includes three well stocked libraries, a Learning Centre in Forfar, our award-winning Learning Lab, our new Fujitsu Innovation Space, as well as four Learning Hubs.
Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, normal access to the Library and Learning Hub spaces will be restricted. To support your learning, we have set up a range of Study Zones across all campuses that will provide you with a safe space to undertake your studies. These spaces will be open to students from the 21st September 2020.
Due to social distancing restrictions, spaces in these areas will be limited. Therefore, we will operate a booking system to avoid disappointment. To book your slot (up to 3 hours), please email us on email@example.com
The team will be available both online and on campus to support you as you start your journey in College, providing the services you need to gain confidence in using the digital devices, systems and resources that will be central to your College life this year. That’s us below:
A new, fully accessible Online Resources site has been created to allow you to access our resources prior to starting College. Please note that access to certain resources will be restricted until after you have completed your online registration. This site includes links to our Digital Skills course – a great resource for all students, no matter your existing digital skills – our student Microsoft Teams guide – this is the platform that you will be using to communicate with your lecturers and fellow students – and the College’s Learn@D&A Induction. This provides you with all the information you will need before starting College, or if you are a returning student concerned about how this will work in the current environment.
Due to the social distancing restricting, students will not be able to self-select library books, buy stationery without ordering it in advance, or study in the library areas. This includes the Group Study rooms.
If you want to borrow a book, please email us on firstname.lastname@example.org
To find out what we have in stock you can browse our Library Catalogue.
If you would like to buy stationery – please email use our Click and Collect tool.
